Susan Sullivan is a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 35 years experience in clinical private practice. Susan worked for 10 yrs at Huntington Hospital on the oncology unit as their Psychiatric NP. She also has extensive clinical experience in perinatal psychiatry. Her first job as a critical care RN at Nassau County Medical Center in the surgical trauma unit many years prior to becoming a Psych NP, set her on track to become a Psychotherapist specializing in trauma. Susan is a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook with a Masters of Science Degree in Nursing, with a Nurse Practitioner certification in psychiatry. Susan has taught psychiatric, maternal child, and med/surg nursing to undergraduate and graduate                                                                                     nursing students in several different                                                                                       universities on LI.
